Rental Terms & Conditions

Before you rent

These terms apply to airport, hotel, and residence delivery across Bangkok. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.

1. Required Documents

The following documents are required at the time of car delivery:

  • Passport
  • Driver’s License (Thai or international)
  • Credit card (Visa / Mastercard)
  • Work permit (for long-term rental, when applicable)

2. Car Rental Conditions

  • Minimum 3 days rental for individual rental.
  • Minimum 1 year rental for corporate rental.
  • Minimum driver’s age: 25 years old.
  • All vehicles are subject to availability.
  • Rental extensions are subject to availability.

3. Rates Included

Your rental rate already includes:

  • 7% VAT
  • Unlimited mileage
  • 24-hour roadside assistance
  • Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
  • Personal Accident Insurance (PAI)
  • Compulsory Third Party Insurance (CTP)
  • Comprehensive Insurance for commercial rental

4. Rates Excluded

The following items are not included in the standard rate:

  • THB 5,000 excess (for non-recoverable loss)
  • Fuel usage (vehicle is supplied with full tank — please return at same level)

5. Payment Terms

  • Full payment at time of car delivery.
  • For long-term rental: 3-month prepaid deposit may be required.

Insurance & Coverage

All Sawasdee Rent A Car vehicles include basic insurance as part of the standard rate. CDW and PAI are included as shown in the rental package. Additional coverage or reduced excess may be requested in advance.

Vehicle Delivery

Delivery to airport, hotel, or residence in Bangkok can be arranged with prior notice. Some areas may have a surcharge depending on distance and time of delivery.

Fuel Policy

Vehicles are delivered with a certain fuel level (often full). Please return the vehicle with the same fuel level to avoid refueling charges.

Customer Responsibilities

  • Use the vehicle in accordance with Thai traffic laws.
  • Report accidents or damage immediately.
  • Do not allow unauthorized drivers to operate the vehicle.
  • Return the vehicle on the agreed date/time to avoid late fees.
